Spectrum of religiosity?


A friend of mine asked me a question today.

"Are u religious?  You see, I’m confused because I see you carry this Qur'anic verse on your student card, but you don’t exactly dress like you’re religious”.

All I can say is that, at one point everyone is religious, we all depend on the faith that we have to carry on life.
You see, a person may even be an atheist but still strongly believe in your faith that God doesn't exist.

And to add, at the end of the day, your faith is not just reflected by your attire, it’s a spectrum of behaviors. God shall not be deceived by the why you choose to portray yourself to society but he sees you for who you really are. Your faith, attitude, and deen. And I found that beautiful!

And I say ‘GOD’ because this applies to all religion 

And just in case anyone is wondering of the beautiful verse that I carry around its:

He is the one who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and then He settled over the dominion. He knows everything that enters into the land, everything that comes out of it, everything that comes down the sky, and everything that climbs into He is with you wherever you may be. God is seer of everything you do (57:4)

And let me just conclude with one of my favorite verse:

“You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight and the heart/brain, and you are responsible for using them” (17:36)

Amen!

Top 10 places you definitely should not take selfies

It seems that we are living in a society that abides narcissistic behavior and minimal actions are being taken to take it down. So I am here to point out top ten places you should not take selfies  1.  Toilets- I don't  think I need a reason for this. you just don't take a picture while people are dropping dush 5 feet away from you.                                              2. Hospitals- as a medical student, nay! as a human being, I just have to say, you taking pictures in the ward next to a patient with hemorrhoid is not in any way attractive 3. When someone you know is in a serious medical condition- dont man, just dont, especially when someone (your dad/mom/aunt/uncle/in laws/grandparent) just had a heart attack and is in the ICU.
